In this picture is my best friend Adam. We’ve both had some wild rides in the past. We’ve both been there for each other. Unbeknownst to both of us at the time, perhaps we there for each other at one another’s lowest points.
Every man has some baggage and trauma. Every man leaves a wake of destruction behind him from time to time.
What if we “connect the dots” backwards and found the value in those defining moments? Even if those were some regrettable and embarrassing times.
Let’s own who we are. Let’s share where we’ve been. Let’s encourage others to do the same so they can move forward…knowing that if that idiot can do it, so can I. Yes we’ve all been idiots.
Jordan Peterson is famously quoted “a harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very dangerous man who has that under voluntary control.”
Let’s unpack our baggage by doing the work. Let’s conquer THE NATURAL MAN by overcoming our addictions and using our emotions as dangerous men who have “it” under control.
